SMB Plates — Show Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made from SMB Plates during in-person sales at automotive shows and events (“Shows”). By purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Product Use
All plates sold by SMB Plates at Shows are show plates intended for display, exhibition, or off-road use only.
They do not comply with DVLA standards for road use. They must not be fitted to any vehicle driven or kept on public roads, unless the registration has been pre-paid for and the plate has been manufactured at our approved premises in compliance with DVLA regulations.
Under the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001, it is an offence to display a registration plate on a public road vehicle that does not meet the required legal standards.
SMB Plates accepts no responsibility for any misuse of show plates or any legal consequences arising from their improper use.
2. Order Accuracy
Customers are responsible for checking all details (including text, spacing, size, and design) before confirming their order.
Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
3. Sales Are Final
All sales made at Shows are final.
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges, except in the rare case of a manufacturing defect.
If a plate is found to be defective, please notify a member of staff immediately at the event. SMB Plates reserves the right to inspect the item and determine the appropriate resolution.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
We accept cash and other payment methods as made available at the event.
5. Liability
SMB Plates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or penalties arising from the misuse or misrepresentation of our products.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring plates are used appropriately and in accordance with UK law, including DVLA and vehicle registration regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, and branding remain the property of SMB Plates and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
7. Amendments
SMB Plates reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be made available at future shows.
